Limit of Liability
Please note that the information found on www.TERIS.co reflects data available to TERIS inc. at the time the site was developed. It represents the best information we were able to obtain overall. Despite the care taken by TERIS inc. in ensuring accuracy of such information, errors may have occurred.
There are no guarantees, expressed or implied, with respect to the TERIS inc. site and/or any of the information it contains. Some actual items may vary slightly from the illustrations shown in the TERIS inc. site. For accurate descriptions of products, please refer to the descriptive texts that appear to the right of product illustrations.
TERIS reserves the right to cancel an Internet order at any time and without further notice.
Targeted Clientele
The addition of an e-commerce section to the www.TERIS.co site is intended strictly for the use of consumers and professional and for their enjoyment of the practical benefits afforded by this novel approach to shopping. Accordingly, TERIS will only honor consumer-generated Internet site transactions as well as by its own clientele with established account in good standing which has user and password to access their account.
Methods of Payment/Billing
Payment by credit card is the only accepted method of settling purchases on www.TERIS.co. VISA and MasterCard issued by Canadian banks are accepted. Please note the e-mail confirmation you receive shortly after placing an order on www.TERIS.co will serve as your proof of contract with TERIS inc. Cash payment and debit card are accepted in TERIS stores. The customers with established account can use their account for purchasing, if the account is current and within its approved credit limit. The credit limit is to be approved by the Credit Department. To open an account, download a CREDIT APPLICATION FORM PDF, the application needs to be filled, signed and the signed copy has to be sent by mail. The analysis requires approximately 10 days. The credit limit has to be approved by the Credit Department and can be cancelled at all time by TERIS without any prior notice.
Prices
The prices shown in the TERIS.co website are the same as in-store prices in TERIS stores. However, due to market conditions, the price and/or the availability of certain products may vary from those of products offered in-store.
Orders placed on www.TERIS.co will be billed at the price indicated on the right of the description and illustration for the selected product.
Because of unforeseeable market fluctuations, TERIS inc. reserves the right to modify prices on products sold through its Internet site at any time, without prior notice. All prices quoted on the TERIS Internet site are in Canadian dollars and may vary from those in effect at TERIS stores for the same items. Federal and provincial taxes are not included in the prices quoted.
Home Delivery or In-store Pick-up
TERIS offers two delivery options for goods ordered on its Internet site: in-store pick-up and home delivery.
Delivery is only available in Canada. For the time being, we do not deliver to following areas: YUKON, NUNAVUT, NORTHWEST TERRITORIES and NORTHEN QUEBEC.
In-store pick-up
You can PICK UP your order, free of charge, at the TERIS store of your choice where this option is available. The products you have ordered will be available at the TERIS store you will have selected within 7 days following the confirmation of your order. The designated store will get in touch with you to notify you of your order’s arrival. You will need to sign an acknowledgement of receipt when picking up your order. Credit Card Use: Credit card orders must be made by the cardholder and said credit card will be required at the on-site pick up.
Home delivery
Delivery charges vary depending on the weight of the items shipped; delivery periods vary depending on destinations. Generally, in urban centers, items ordered on www.TERIS.co are delivered within 2 to 5 days following the confirmation of your order. Delivery to remote locations may require up to 7 business days. However, orders placed after 12 p.m. on Fridays will not be processed until the following Monday.
If you select the DELIVERY option, your order will be shipped via Carrier company in keeping with their delivery policies and procedures.
Credit Card Use: Credit card orders must be made by the cardholder and said credit card will be required at the on-site pick up.
You can track the delivery of your order yourself by simply visiting the Carrier company Internet site and gaining direct access to their tracking system. You will need to enter your waybill number in order to conduct a search for your order. You can find this number on the confirmation e-mail you will receive from TERIS inc. when your order is being processed.
Payment for your order needs to have been processed and accepted before TERIS inc. proceeds with delivery of your order.
Availability of Products
TERIS inc. makes every effort to stock sufficient quantities of products sold through its Internet site. However, TERIS inc. cannot guarantee availability of such products. In addition, TERIS inc. accepts no responsibility for damages resulting from stock-outs or delays in delivery.
Should TERIS inc. find itself unable to deliver the product or products you ordered on its Internet site, you will be advised by e-mail.
For reasons beyond our control, we occasionally need to modify product specifications or supply a substitute product. If TERIS inc. ships you a substitute product, you should know that it will be of a quality equal or superior to that of the product you ordered, and that it will be offered to you at the same price as the product you ordered. If, despite that, the product does not suit you, you need only return it by following the return procedure described below. TERIS inc. reserves the right to limit quantities.
Cancelling an Order
To cancel an order made through the website of TERIS inc., you simply have to contact TERIS's Internet Customer Service within the first 24 hours following confirmation of your order. You may do so by calling, toll free, at 1 888 622-2710. Internet Customer Phone Service is available from Monday through Friday, between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., ET. Please refer to the order number of your purchase as mentioned in the confirmation e-mail you received and TERIS inc. will credit your account with the amount of that purchase at the earliest convenience possible.
Returning Merchandise
TERIS accepts returns of items purchased on TERIS.co up to 10 days following the date of purchase. After 10 days but before 30 days of the date of the invoice, handling charges of 15% will be invoiced. The total amount of the returned merchandise purchased on-line less the handling charges, will be credited to the account debited at the time of purchase. Special orders, orders exceeding $1000, electric and electronic items, or orders exceeding 30 days from the invoiced date require a special authorization from TERIS Customer Service. The merchandise needs to be in excellent condition and in its original packaging.
Returnable Pallets, drums, cardboard tubes
These products have to be paid and are required in the packaging or the transportation of the purchased materials. They will be invoiced and requires full payments before shipping. They will be reimbursed upon their return in good condition, with the proof of purchase. The amount reimbursed cannot exceed the amount paid for these items.
Where to return merchandise?
You may return merchandise within 10 days following purchase by dropping it off at a TERIS store or by mail.
Returning merchandise to a TERIS store
Go to a store with a copy of the confirmation e-mail you received at the time of purchase and with the merchandise in its original packaging. TERIS.co customer service personnel will credit your account, not the store.
Getting reimbursed quickly
Return the merchandise in its original packaging along with a copy of the confirmation e-mail you received at the time of purchase.
Returning merchandise by mail
1 - Clearly identify on the confirmation e-mail received at the time of purchase the TERIS merchandise code for the item you wish to return.
2 - Select one of the following return codes:
80 - Refused
81 - Manufacturing defect
82 - Damaged
83 - Wrong product
84 - Incomplete
3 - Be sure to include accessories, parts and manuals in the box.
4 - Include a copy of the confirmation e-mail in the box and mail to:

Note:

Si If the merchandise you received was in good condition at the time of delivery, you must assume costs connected with the original delivery and the return of the merchandise and the handling charges of 15%.

However, if the merchandise was damaged or defective at the time of delivery, or if the merchandise is not what you ordered, TERIS inc. will reimburse you both merchandise and shipping costs.
Important: TERIS inc. cannot be held liable for damage to the merchandise while it is being returned. Therefore, it is in your interest to use a shipping service that will provide suitable, duly signed documentation and insurance.
Guarantees
TERIS accepts returns of items purchased on www.TERIS.co up to 30 days following purchase. Handling charges could apply. In cases of product defects, the manufacturer's guarantee will apply.
Responsibility
Should TERIS inc. be found responsible pursuant to a claim by one of its Internet customers, its liability will be limited to the aggregate of the amounts paid by the customer to TERIS inc. for purchases made through its Internet site.
The foregoing notwithstanding, customers are entitled to all the rights provided under applicable laws and regulations, and must abide by the obligations provided under the same laws and regulations.
The laws of the Province of Québec govern the relationship between the parties. Any dispute arising from sales or credits, or from any failure with respect to the conditions that apply to TERIS inc. Internet sales will fall under the jurisdiction of the Quebec courts.
Force majeure
Internet site customers agree TERIS inc. will not be held responsible for its failure to execute its obligations, nor for the damage/losses incurred as a result of a fortuitous event (force majeure) or act of God.
